Coursework

Lab

Summary

In this lab we learnt to apply our understanding of NAND gates and combinational logic circuit

Reflection

This assignment has strengthen my understanding regarding the use of NAND gates and how it differs to basic gates and how to apply it. We also did a simulation in Deeds.

Summary

This a practical lab where we have to make a synchronous digital counter

Reflection

We get apply our knowledge about counters and deepened our understanding regarding PRE, CLR and how it affects our input. From that we can also see the output physically on the BCD display on how the circuit works.

Reflection

This course has helped me learn the fundamentals of electronic circuits and how to manipulate them. I think the knowledge I gained by learning the underlying hardware of digital systems can help me write more optimized and efficient code. Things that I could improve are to do more circuit simulations using Deeds and exercises to further understand the subject.
